Privacy Policy

Effective October 30, 2026.

Trama was built not to know who you are. There is no account, sign-up, email, advertising, tracking or analytics tool. Almost everything you do in the app stays on your device. This policy explains what stays on your device, what goes through our servers, and why.

Who we are

Trama is published by DNGX Consultoria e Sistemas LTDA, CNPJ 31.461.455/0001-38, which is the controller of the data processed by the app under Brazil's General Data Protection Law (Lei 13.709/2018, "LGPD"). Contact us at contato@dngx.com.br.

What stays only on your device

This data is never sent to us:

• The name of the heroine or hero you choose for the stories. You can leave it blank.
• Progress and choices: chapters read, paths, endings, favorites, attributes and bonds with the characters.
• Preferences: universe, who you're attracted to in the stories, tastes, limits, spice level, theme, sound and language.
• Conversations: the messages in your conversations with the characters are stored on the device. See below for what happens when AI chat is on.
• Wallet: gems, tickets and what you have already unlocked.
• App lock: if you turn on the passcode, we store only an encrypted version of it in the device's keychain, marked never to leave it. Face ID and fingerprint are checked by the system itself; the app only receives "yes" or "no".

The date of birth you enter at the start is used only to confirm that you are 18 or older. It is not saved or sent. On compatible devices, the app may also check the age range reported by the system itself (for example, Apple's Declared Age Range feature). That answer is used on the device and is not sent to us.

This data may be included in your device backup (iCloud or Google), depending on your system settings. These backups are controlled by you and by Apple or Google, not by us.

What goes through our servers

Stories and images

To download new stories, covers, images and character photos, the app connects to our server over an encrypted connection. To prevent fake copies of the app, the device proves it is the original Trama using the system's attestation service (App Attest, on iPhone). This creates a technical key, generated on the device, that does not identify you.

As with any internet connection, our server receives the device's IP address so it can respond. It is used only to deliver the content and, for a few minutes and only in memory, to limit abuse. We do not keep IP addresses or content in logs. Once downloaded, a story can be read without internet.

Chatting with the characters (artificial intelligence)

Between chapters, you can write freely to the characters. When AI chat is on, the replies are generated by an artificial intelligence model. Before the first use, the app explains this and asks for your permission. You can turn it off at any time in Settings; when it is off, the character replies with pre-written lines, without internet.

With AI chat on, whenever you write to a character, or when they start a conversation, the app sends to our server, over an encrypted connection:

• the recent messages in that conversation;
• the name you gave your heroine or hero;
• a summary of what has happened in the chapters you finished, based on your choices;
• your spice level and language, so the reply respects your limits.

We use this only to generate the reply for that moment. The server does not store the content of messages, does not build a profile, does not link conversations to you or to other conversations, and does not use what you write to train models.

The reply may be generated on servers operated by DNGX or by an artificial intelligence provider we hire, acting as a processor on our behalf. We only work with providers that commit by contract to use the content only to generate the reply, not to use it to train models, and not to keep it longer than needed for that or required by law. Provider in use today: DNGX's own servers. If we start using an external provider, it will be listed here first, and the app will ask for your permission again.

If the provider is in another country, the transfer will follow what the LGPD requires for international transfers (art. 33), with contractual clauses that guarantee the same level of protection.

The replies are fiction, written by a machine playing the character. Do not use the chat to deal with real and sensitive matters, such as health, money or legal problems.

Purchases

Gems and the Trama Pass are sold through the App Store (Apple) or Google Play (Google). Payment is handled by them, under their own privacy policies. We do not receive your name, email, card or purchase history. The app only receives confirmation from the store that the purchase was made, and stores it on the device.

Notifications

Trama's alerts (for example, "a character wrote to you") are created on the device itself. We do not use server-sent notifications and we have no notification identifier for you. By default the alert is discreet, with no name or message text; you can change this in Settings.

What we don't do

• We don't ask for an account, email or phone number.
• We don't use advertising, advertising identifiers (IDFA or AAID), cookies, or analytics and tracking tools, either in the app or on the playtrama.com website.
• We don't sell, rent or share data with third parties for marketing.
• We don't monitor what you read or choose.

Why we process this data (legal bases)

• Delivering the stories and the chat you asked for: performance of the contract with you (LGPD, art. 7, V).
• Protecting the service against fake copies and abuse: legitimate interest (LGPD, art. 7, IX), with minimal data and no logging.
• Complying with legal obligations, when applicable (LGPD, art. 7, II).

How long

What stays on the device remains until you delete it: Settings has an option to delete everything, and uninstalling the app also removes this data from the device. What goes through the server is discarded as soon as the reply is delivered.

Your rights

Under the LGPD you can request confirmation of processing, access, correction, anonymization, portability, deletion, information about sharing and review of automated decisions, and you can withdraw your consent (for example, by turning off AI chat). Since we don't keep data that identifies you, in most cases control is already in your hands, on the device itself. For any request or question, write to contato@dngx.com.br. You can also file a complaint with Brazil's National Data Protection Authority (Autoridade Nacional de Proteção de Dados, "ANPD").

18+ only

Trama is only for people aged 18 and over. We do not knowingly collect data from minors. If the app detects that the person is a minor, access is blocked.

Security

We use encrypted connections, app attestation, keys stored only on the device and servers that don't log content. No system is perfect; if an incident affects you, we will notify you as required by law.

Changes to this policy

If this policy changes, we will publish the new version on this page, with the date at the top. Important changes, such as starting to use an external AI provider, will also be announced in the app before they take effect.
